Before we met and embarked upon our joint collecting odyssey, we were collectors as children. Coins, stamps, and souvenirs from travels filled our small bedrooms. It was these early treasures that propelled us on our never-ending search for the rare and mysterious objects that inspire us to imagine and ponder distant cultures. In the early 1970’s I traveled through Turkey and Iran, spent significant time in Afghanistan, and later lived in India. I spent months prowling through bazaars and antique shops, always turning up a find that was unusual. I enjoyed meeting the people, sitting for hours drinking tea and relating stories of places that we’d seen and people that we had met. Some chance meeting with a person at times developed into a relationship that lasted for years. Lynda and I travel extensively throughout the United States and Europe, always in search of old and unique or contemporary items that reflect the diverse cultures of the world. We began buying and selling Native American art over 25 years ago and it was this experience that helped develop lasting relationships with fellow collectors and dealers. We continue to travel, do antique shows and after long consideration and prompting from many friends, we decided to put this website together.
